The Three-Layer System

  1. Evidence Layer (Base): The ground truth. Hardened documents, transcripts, and metadata.
  2. Strategy Layer: Your legal theories, nodes of interest, and causal links.
  3. Execution Layer: The drafting progress, citations, and court-ready output.

Toggling Visibility

Use the Layer Palette to hide or reveal specific case dimensions. This is critical for:
  • Redacting sensitive layers before internal sharing.
  • Switching between “Plaintiff Vision” and “Defense Rebuttal” views.

Cross-Layer Referencing

Nodes on the Strategy Layer can be “anchored” to specific coordinates or text snippets in the Evidence Layer, creating a permanent, verifiable link.
