Every verified claim in Scoutline is mapped directly to a source in the Hardened S3 Vault.

Direct Mapping Logic

When the Citation Engine identifies a supporting document, it creates a Cryptographic Link between:
  • The Assertion: The specific text in your motion or brief.
  • The Source: The exact page, paragraph, and line number in the discovery document or legal statute.

Visual Verification

In the Scoutline UI, hovering over a citation brings up the Source Map Pane, which displays the original document snippet in real-time, side-by-side with your writing.

Immutable References

Because your Vault is hardened with WORM (Write Once, Read Many) policies, the Source Map is immutable. Your citations will never “break” or point to modified data.
