Before the Citation Engine allows a source to be used, it performs a series of high-density verifiability checks.

Checks Performed

  1. Source Authenticity: Verifies the document origin and cryptographic signature.
  2. Contextual Integrity: Ensures the cited snippet hasn’t been taken out of context by analyzing the surrounding 500 words.
  3. Temporal Validity: Checks if the cited law was in effect at the time of the event and remains valid today.
